Q: Why isn't my car listed?

A: Adding and verifying cars takes a lot of time, and while we'd love to include every production car since the Ford Model T, its just not realistic. We are, however, constantly updating our vehicle database, and you can help us speed up the inclusion of your car by clicking the “My car isn't listed” link on the main page.

Q: There are many seemingly identical versions of my car, which should I choose?

A: There are currently some cars with identical or near identical names on our database. We are in the process of editing these, in order to make car selection even easier. Most cars with similar names also have similar or identical fuel efficiency ratings, so its not important which you choose. The main things that need to be correct for your car are fuel type (petrol, diesel, etc) engine size, and transmission type (manual or automatic).

Q: I chose a from/to location from the auto-complete drop down list, and I keep getting an error saying “The address is too vague”, why is this?

A: We are currently in the process of verifying all the towns in our auto-complete database against the Google Maps system. Until we have finished this, there will be some towns that wont be recognised (Welsh towns with both English and Welsh spellings commonly have this problem).
